When Christine was a little girl in the Philippines she found a family photo album with a photo of a peacock chair in it. Knowing, at the time, that only the elite could sit on them she always dreamed of having one her own. She searched for one & only found really old chairs in poor condition--finally, she began her search for a maker. She found the perfect fit in Indonesia with true artisans who could bring all of her rattan dreams to life. One chair for herself quickly became containers of hundreds of the most beautiful, brand new, hand-crafted pieces. It brought her joy getting to support the artisans livelihood--especially, during the 2020 pandemic with her orders of chairs & the makers shared their immense gratitude. Today she is grateful to share the beauty of peacock chairs with Hawaii through offering chairs, tables, shelves & lighting fixtures both for purchase & rent while working closely with her family while she does it. Her 3 children get so excited when they hear about a new delivery to do and she loves sharing this experience with them!
